Cool idea, easy install! I don’t have to bring a flashlight or my phone every time I go to get mail.
Absolutely brilliant idea and implementation of a simple but longstanding problem! I would mention that the bottom adhesive side of the battery compartment is very slightly curved (most likely to accommodate traditional rounded mailboxes) and only upon installation are you cautioned that the device is not intended to be installed on flat surfaces of your mailbox. Mine is flat, but the device has sufficient adhesive surface to adhere to the flat part of the box. I think they should revisit this feature.

Super simple setup much easier than I was expecting and it works great. Could be a little bit brighter but its not really necessary since its enough to see what your doing. I'd recommend it.

This light works great and the illumination is strong. Since we reside on a long, rural road, there’s no light around our mailbox. It has significantly improved our convenience, and we haven’t encountered any spiders since its installation either. 10/10
It sure does make it easier to find my mail when I get it after dark. I used to have to use either a flashlight or feel around inside the dark mailbox.

Drill a small (7/32”) hole through the top of your mailbox to allow the LED light to shine through.
The strong heat-resistant adhesive seal provides a permanent waterproof bond to your mailbox.
No wiring, no electrical knowledge, nothing to hire out.
Pick a spot on the top centerline of your mailbox between the middle and ⅔ of the way back from the front.
Mark the spot with a pencil or marker.
Slowly drill a 7/32” (or 5mm) hole using a metal drill bit without pressing down too hard.
Clean the top surface with the provided alcohol wipe.
Remove the protective cover on the adhesive tape backing, and pull out the battery isolation tab
Align the Mailbox Night Light assembly with your mailbox, center line, position the LED bulb over the hole you just drilled and press down firmly.
